Scholarship Types
1. Higher-level Department Scholarships (Hunan Provincial Foreign Student Scholarship, Hunan Provincial "Belt and Road" Language Student Scholarship);
2. University-level Scholarships (Type I Academic Scholarship, Type II Academic Scholarship, Type III Scholarship, Individual Scholarship);
3. Social Scholarships
Application Requirements
1. Non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign passports, friendly to China; 2. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations and the university's rules and regulations;
3. Have good moral character, honesty and trustworthiness, and good health;
4. Meet the academic requirements for the applied scholarship: Type I Academic Scholarship requires excellent comprehensive evaluation (no more than 40% of international students in the major); Type II Academic Scholarship is for outstanding international students applying for undergraduate or graduate programs; Type III Scholarship is for international students studying with Chinese students;
5. Higher-level department scholarships and university-level Type I Academic Scholarships cannot be obtained repeatedly;
6. International students studying for less than one academic year are not eligible for university-level Type I Academic Scholarship.
Application Deadline
Subject to the annual announcement of the university; the quota and evaluation rules of university-level scholarships are formulated in March each year.
